$17.00per certified copy · $16 plus a $1 birth-record fee

The department “shall be entitled to charge and collect in advance a fee of sixteen dollars to be paid by the applicant for each certified copy” (Neb. Rev. Stat. § 71-612(1)), and “an additional fee of one dollar for any certified copy of the record of any birth” (§ 71-612(7)). The county clerk does not issue certified birth certificates.
