The price is three statutory parts: $35.00 under § 25-7-13(2)(i), of which $14 goes to the Victims of Domestic Violence Fund (inside the $35.00, not added); $1.00for the marriage record the circuit clerk sends to the State Board of Health, collected “in addition to the fee for the license” (§ 41-57-48(5)); and $1.00records-management (“archive”) fee under § 25-60-5 where the county's board has adopted it. Clay County collects the archive fee, so the parts add up to $37.00.

A certified copy afterwards
A certified copy of the marriage licence costs what the Bureau of Vital Statistics charges (§ 25-7-13(2)(j)): the Department of Health publishes $17 for the first copy and $6 for each additional copy ordered at the same time.
