💍 Mississippi marriage licenses come from the Circuit Clerk of any county: $37in most counties — $35 under § 25-7-13, $1 for the state marriage record (§ 41-57-48(5)) and the county's $1 archive fee (§ 25-60-5). Deeds are recorded by the Chancery Clerk: $26 for up to five pages where the county collects the archive fee, $25 where it does not. Birth and death certificates come from the State Department of Health, and a business name is registered with the Secretary of State.
