Utah marriage licenses are issued by the County Clerk; the fee is not uniform statewide — it runs about $30–$50 by county. There is no waiting period and no residency requirement. Both parties must appear in person with government-issued photo ID and provide Social Security numbers; if divorced within the last 60 days, bring a certified copy of the decree. The license is valid for 32 days, can be used anywhere in Utah, and the officiant must return it to the issuing clerk within 30 days. Certified copies are about $6 each, and an optional $10 donation to domestic violence shelters may be added at purchase. Call (435) 835-2131 to confirm the exact fee before you go.
