SDCL 7-9-15(1) sets it: “the sum of thirty dollars for the first fifty pages plus two dollars for each additional page or fraction thereof exceeding fifty pages”. SDCL 7-9-26 sends $5 of each recording fee to the modernization and preservation relief fund; that is a share of the $30.00, not an extra charge.

A certified copy is $5.00 for the first page and $1.00 for each page after; an uncertified copy is $1.00 a page (SDCL 7-9-15(2)).
The transfer fee is separate
Transferring title to land also carries South Dakota's real estate transfer fee — $0.50 per $500 of value (paid by the grantor)— which the statute says “shall be paid by the grantor” (SDCL 43-4-21). It is not a recording fee.
