Birth certificates are issued by Missouri Vital Records, not the County Clerk.
🌐 Go to the official portalhealth.mo.gov ↗One form covers birth, death, fetal death and stillbirth — tick the record you need. A birth copy is $15.00 per copy, with no cheaper rate for extra copies. Mail-in requests must be notarized and include a self-addressed stamped envelope — an un-notarized one is rejected. Going in person needs photo ID instead, and any of Missouri's 115 local public health agencies offers walk-in service; otherwise mail it to the Bureau of Vital Records in Jefferson City. Not to this office. State records begin 1 January 1910.
