Online renewal is available statewide at drive.ky.gov, but leased vehicles and boats can't be renewed online — those go through the clerk. The registration renewal fee is $21 and the title fee is $9 (a $2 mailing fee applies to mail/online renewals; a county ad valorem property tax that varies by county and vehicle value is also collected at renewal).
