🌐 Go to the official portalin.gov ↗The $8.00 fee is a non-refundable SEARCH fee set by state law (IC 16-37-1-11); additional certified copies of the same record bought at the same time are $4.00 each. If the record is not in the year you give, the search extends two years either side. For faster service take the form to the local health department in the county where the death happened instead of mailing the state — not to this office. Deaths between 1900 and 1917 need the city or county of death listed to be found.
