Registration in Florida is run by the county SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS, a separately elected officer — Fla. Stat. § 98.015, “Supervisor of elections; election, tenure of office … custody of registration-related documents” — and not by the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Register online at RegisterToVoteFlorida.gov, by mail, or in person with the supervisor. § 97.055(1)(a) closes the books: “The registration books must be closed on the 29th day before each election”, so register at least 29 days out to vote in the next one.
