Apply for a Passport in San Diego County, CA
Passport applications go to an acceptance facility designated by the U.S. Department of State, and the Assessor | Recorder | County Clerk is not on that list. Here's where to go instead.
Federal fees, the same everywhere (22 CFR 22.1): a $35 execution fee paid to the acceptance facility, and for an adult passport book a $50 application fee plus the $80 security surcharge paid to the U.S. Department of State. First-time applicants use form DS-11 and apply in person.
