In Grant County, marriage licenses are issued by the County & Circuit Clerk; in Arkansas the fee is set by each county. There is no waiting period when both applicants are 18 or older. A 17-year-old may marry only with notarized parental or guardian consent, and that license carries a waiting period of five business days (Ark. Code § 9-11-102, as restated by Act 470 of 2021).
